Our Pastor

Then & Now

I began attending Calvary at age 3 when my parents moved to Richmond, Kentucky. At age 9 the Lord saved me. I followed the Lord in baptism and was received as a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. I remained at Calvary until I married my lovely wife Danada and moved from Richmond.

In 1998 I felt the Lord calling me into the ministry as I was speaking to a group of inmates at Northpoint Training Center (a KYDOC prison). I publicly surrendered to the gospel ministry that same year and continued to preach to inmates in a monthly Chapel service at North Point until 2001 when I was ordained and moved to Western Kentucky to pastor. I continued pastoring in Kentucky and Tennessee for the next 16 years.

In January 2017 I moved back to Kentucky and eventually became the Chaplain over North Point Training Center where the Lord had called me to preach 19 years earlier.

In December of 2019 I accepted the call to pastor the Calvary Baptist Church when her former pastor, Bro. Bobby Greene retired after 32 years of faithful service.

I love pastoring the Calvary Baptist Church. She is a very loving and unified church where the love of Christ lives!
